Sparks Genius Mind
Our Early Intervention Program is a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for children up to 3 years of age diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This program is a comprehensive model that addresses developmental skills in the areas of language, play, social interaction, joint attention, imitation, motor skills, self care, and behavior. Our long-term goals are to build independence and self-determination; to teach the tools for developing and maintaining loving, mutual relationships; and to provide each child an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to family, school, and community.
In Early Intervention Program we provides:
- Individualized intensive programming to meet the unique needs of each child and family
- A team of early intervention specialists who provide integrated and effective services, in consultation with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and early childhood special educators
- Activities and interactions designed to enhance each child’s communication, social interaction, learning, and active participation in everyday activities and routines
- Ongoing guidance and education for families about their child’s development
- Coaching and support to help parents communicate and interact more successfully with their child
The intensity and types of services a child receives are based on the child and family’s needs and current assessments. Early Intervention Program may include.
- Home-based intervention
- Parent education and coaching
- Community-based services
